🛠️ Prerequisites

To manage floors, you must be at least a Building or Global Admin in Kadence

Create a New Floor

To add a new floor to a building:

  1. Go to Buildings

  2. Click on the building where you want to add a floor

  3. Click Add Floor (upper-right corner)

  4. Enter the name of the floor (e.g. “1st Floor” or “Mezzanine”)

  5. Upload a .jpg image of your floor (optional)

  6. Click Add in the lower-right corner to save the floor

📌 You can start adding resources and neighborhoods as soon as the floor is created.

🗑️ Delete a Floor

If a floor is no longer in use, you can delete it permanently.

⚠️ Before deleting a floor:

  • Export any booking data (CSV) from the floor for recordkeeping

  • Be aware that deleting a floor will also delete:

    • The floorplan image

    • All associated resources (e.g. desks, rooms)

    • All associated neighborhoods

    • Any related booking data

To delete a floor:

  1. Go to Buildings

  2. Select the relevant building

  3. Click the kebab menu (⋮) next to the floor

  4. Click Delete Floor

  5. Confirm your decision in the pop-up modal

⚠️ This action is irreversible.
