Before you start, make sure:
You are a Global Admin in Kadence
✨ What can Kadence AI do?
With Kadence AI enabled, users can ask questions and perform tasks like booking spaces, checking availability, and managing their workspace—all through natural conversation.
Kadence AI supports a wide range of capabilities, including:
Capability | What it allows users to do |
Booking management | Create, cancel, and check in to bookings for desks, rooms, private offices, lockers, parking, pods, and more — including bookings on behalf of other users or guests |
Space availability | Find available spaces in preferred buildings and floors, or request specific spaces at specific times |
User preferences | Use saved preferred building and floor settings to make faster, more relevant booking suggestions |
Working hours awareness | Ensure bookings are created within defined working hours |
Booking credits | View remaining booking credits and understand how bookings use them |
Kadence Guide access | Ask how‑to questions and get instant help with Kadence features |
Restart chat | Clear the current conversation and start fresh at any time |
🔧 How to enable or disable Kadence AI:
Log in to Kadence as a Global Admin
Go to Settings → Integrations
Scroll to Kadence AI
Toggle ON or OFF to enable or disable the AI assistant
🧠 What happens when Kadence AI is disabled?
If Kadence AI is turned off, users will still be able to interact with the Kadence bot in Teams, but functionality will be limited to:
Checking in to their bookings
Self-certifying before arrival
This ensures basic check-in workflows continue to work, even without full AI capabilities.
